Sans doute le meilleur jeu de course que je connaisse. Les parties (en 3 courses)sont rythmées et tendues. Les phases de déplacement des chevaux de font en alternance via des cartes de valeur 3 a 12 et via 2 d6, chacun est donc libre de progresser du nombre de cases souhaité (sauf les 3 premiers qui subissent un handicap). De par ce mécanisme, les chevaux restent toujours plus ou moins groupés et c'est souvent une bataille pour prendre la corde ou tenter de bloquer ses adversaires. En résumé, turfmaster est un jeu ou la maxime de La Fontaine prend tout son sens : "rien ne sert de courir, il faut partir a point". De plus le matériel est vraiment très, très sympa.
