Epic Napoleonics is the sixth expansion for Commands & Colors: Napoleonics.
Epic Napoleonics lets you fight bigger battles with more units. There are in fact two game systems:
- Epic Battles allows larger battles to be played by 2 players
- Grande Battles allows 8-player battles.
Although the scale has changed, the historical feel and most of the basic rules remain the same. To make the most of the two new game formats, we recommend using the command and tactician card decks from Commands & Colors Napoleonics Expansion 5: Generals, Marshals, Tacticians.
The cards in the new formats are larger: 11 hexes out of 20 for Epic, 11 out of 26 for La Grande Battle, compared with 9 out of 13 for the standard format.
