Having received such excellent service from the seller, whom I shall certainly use again, I was keen to get a few games underway as soon as possible. The battles are fairly straightforward to learn and play and generally quite realistically reflect the actualities of battle in 15th century England. They are also fun and can be quite tense. There is plenty of replay value here and the game was a good buy, being excellent value for money. On the slight downside, there are some problems. Bosworth, without the Stanley's! (a bit like Verdun without the French!), but these may have been caused by restraints placed on the designer, who has fitted a lot of battles in, to his credit. It would be nice to see a game like this developed, at some point in the future, into a campaign covering the whole war, with a suitable map of England, thus giving each battle an ongoing momentum, building into a larger picture - possibly with battles of the players own, using the cards provided as a basis. An interesting thought. Overall, a good solid buy and value for money. Add the excellent service provided by the seller and this added up to a rewarding experience, covering one of the lesser known periods in European history.
